THE 'JAM' IS BACK!

Every Monday in February  12:30-3:30

Our famous Monday 'Jam' with area musicians coming together to play for their own enjoyment and ours will start back up on Monday, Feb 4, and play each Monday in February.   A blend of bluegrass and good old country tunes has made tis group one of the most popular weekly events in the area.  We encourage you to have lunch here at the Center and then sit back afterwards and enjoy a few songs.  Stop by and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Do you have a Guitar and enjoy playing with others.  If so, grab your guitar, and come into the Senior Center and learn to play with others.  Beginners are encouraged to come.  The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month @ 6:00 PM.  This is a free class. 

VAN:  10:00 am—2:00 pm., Mon—Fri for transportation in Verona only.   Call the Senior Center, 845-7471, to schedule your ride.  The van is equipped with a lift to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs.

Fees for rides (roundtrip) are as follows: 

• To the Senior Center           $1
• Other Verona Destinations  $2
• Madison Shopping               $4

Charges will vary for special events.  Payments are to be made directly to the driver.

Enjoy a salad for lunch at the Senior Center. Fresh salads are available on Tuesdays as an alternate choice to the posted menu. The cost for a salad is $4.00. Reservations for a Salad Lunch must be made before noon on Mondays. Call 845-7471 for info on salad choices available.

Several of you have indicated that you would prefer a later and lighter lunch.  In an effort to accomodate you we are beginning "Salad Tuesdays" with a starting time of 12:30. The sides from the regular menu will remain the same, with the only entree available will be the lunch salad.  Salads will still be available for the 11:45AM seating.
